you qualify for Voc rehab if you are still in service and going through the IDES system For Servicemembers: Ill or injured Servicemembers who have not yet received a SCD rating do not need to wait to apply. Servicemembers expecting a discharge that is other than dishonorable who possess a VA memorandum or Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) rating of 20 percent or more—as well as Servicemembers currently going through a Physical Evaluation Board—may be eligible to receive VR&E services reference link

It's a pretty good program, I used it to go to school for welding. I received 2 certificates and several certification. It was a little tough to get the VA to get my supplies but eventually did. I believe you use your own GI Bill and they are a guidance counselor and they help with job placement when you graduate.

I am currently in the Voc Rehab Program at White River Junction, VT and if anyone needs help with navigating it I can help you out. It's pretty straightforward and fairly easy to apply. You need to have a plan and what you plan on doing.
